EF International School of English

EF Malta

EF Malta

EF Malta is a School of English owned by EF Education First. This company was founded back in 1965 and has its base in Sweden.

Originally, the company’s main objective was to encourage local students to travel to England and study English. Since then EF kept evolving and is now offering English courses in around 50 countries all over the world.

Students and professionals can select from a variety of courses to learn English at the EF English School in St Julians, which is located in the center of Paceville (only few minutes walk away from a small public sandy beach).

There is also a private EF beach club reserved for EF students. Throughout the day and especially during outdoor activities, the students are supervised by EF Malta leaders. Such leaders can be local or of the same nationality of the party, especially when traveling in groups.

If you’re looking for EF Malta job opportunities, you will find plenty online on their official website or by contacting EF English Malta directly.

EF courses in Malta are all held at the English School, which is also fully air-conditioned and equipped with wireless internet. Accommodation provided for students is usually in the form of EF studio apartments, host families or hotels. One can choose from a selection of units very close to the English language school or near the capital city of Malta, Valletta. It is ideal to share a room with a person of difference nationality or stay with a Maltese family, so as to be able to practice while studying English throughout the stay too.

My niece, Chloe is 21 years old and lives in the UK. She finished her studies at Southampton University and has a degree in English. She’s interested to come and teach English here. Can you tell me what she has to do, to whom she can send a CV and if this is possible?

Your earliest reply would be greatly appreciated as my niece intends to come as soon as she is offered a job.

    Thanks,
    Joyce

  16. Valerie Says:

    Hi,

I have just obtained my EFL teaching warrant. I successfully completed the courses delivered by Mr Alan Marsh. Could you kindly inform me if you have any teaching vacancies at the moment? I work in a college as an Officer, but I would consider changing my job to work in an English Language school. Can one consider teaching EFL as a full time job or is it just a Summer job? I have worked in an educational institution for the last 12 years.

    Thanks and regards,
    Val (Email: midand@onvol.net)
