With both teams losing their first encounters in the Championship Pool, both Floriana and Tarxien were aiming to return to winning ways in another rain swept encounter. Floriana welcomed back Daniel Nwoke to the starting line up having missed the forward’s prowess up front while Tarxien were more or less unchanged from their last start against Birkirkara.
