Mellieha is an idyllic seaside town situated in the north part of the island and it is the most popular summer destination for tourists.

The Three Cities – Senglea (Isla)

Three Cities, SengleaHow it is possible that I didn’t visit this place earlier?! How many times I was gazing and staring the view about the Three Cities from Valletta waterfront and somehow never came to my mind to go there and discover it. Well, now I did it. He it comes the last one from the Three Cities: Senglea (L-Isla), which one I liked almost that much as the first one, Vittoriosa.

The local communities in Three Cities celebrate holy days and festas as nowhere else on the Islands.

The Three Cities is a collective description of the fortified cities of Vittoriosa (Birgu), Cospicua (Bormla) and Senglea (Isla), which are enclosed by a line of fortification created by the Maltese Knights

Blue Grotto

Blue GrottoBlue Grotto is also a place situated on the southern coast of Malta, it is located right across the small uninhabited islet Filfla. It is a series of caves carved out of the rocks by the sea on the west coast of the island.

The location of these sea caverns combined with sunshine is mirroring several shades of blue in the water. My tip is definitely to take a camera if you go there.
